A huge THANK YOU to STI-CEMS for taking care of our Waldron Schools staff during Meet the Teacher tonight.

They provided a delicious meal of BBQ, potato salad, and beans, and we are incredibly grateful for their generosity and support of Waldron Schools.

We are fortunate to have community partners who continue to step up and take care of our people. Thank you, STI-CEMS, for feeding our staff and helping make Meet the Teacher a great evening!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR BUS RIDERS!

The 2026/2027 School Year is upon us! Starting Monday, our school buses will back on the road. Please be mindful and monitor your speed around school bus stops and of course STOP for the RED FLASHING LIGHTS.

There is just a few changes to our bus routes we need to communicate. If the bus route is NOT LISTED below, there has not been a change. We will be set up tonight at the Meet the Teacher in the Elementary School to help answer questions you may have.

Route 11- John Luttrell- Will be taking all of East 80 students that have been riding Route 18. Expect the bus about 15 minutes earlier in the morning as well as 15 min later in the afternoons.

Route 15- David Jones- Will no longer pick up 6th Street from Harps to FBC. These stops will now ride Route 17.

Route 17- This is a new bus route. This bus will pick up West 8th Street, Elm Street (8th Street to 6th Street) and all of West 6th from Stop light on Hwy 71 to Stoplight on Main.

Route 18- No longer exists

A huge THANK YOU to Waldron First Baptist Church for showing our staff some love today!

Our entire staff was treated to some delicious chicken spaghetti, great fellowship, and some pretty sweet door prizes! More than the meal or prizes, we appreciate the time, effort, and generosity that went into making our staff feel special as we prepare for another school year.

We are incredibly fortunate to live in a community where our churches, businesses, and organizations continually step up to support the people who serve our students each day.

Thank you, Waldron First Baptist, for loving on our Bulldog family! Your kindness and support mean more than you know!

It’s that time again: Back to School!
We want to remind everyone that the entirety of Rice Street is a NO PASSING ZONE. In addition, vehicles will not be allowed to stop in the roadway, or park along the roadway. With increased traffic around all of our school campuses, we remind drivers to obey school zone speed limits, follow state laws when in the vicinity of school buses, and stay OFF your phones. We plan to monitor City bus routes to ensure that vehicles following or meeting school buses at their stops, are following state law. Allow yourself extra time to make it to your destination, and be on the lookout for pedestrians at all times!
We all have the same mission: to make this a safe, fun and successful year for every student at Waldron Public Schools. Do your part. Drive safely.

A big THANK YOU to Chambers Bank for taking care of our Waldron School District staff today!

They treated everyone to some delicious Stack Ups — and judging by the plates, I don’t think anyone left hungry! 😋 On top of a great meal, they also made sure every staff member went home with a gift.

We are incredibly fortunate to have local businesses that don’t just serve our community — they invest in the people who serve our students every day.

A big THANK YOU to Arvest Bank for treating our entire Waldron School District staff to lunch today! 🧡🖤

From firing up the smoker to serving a great meal, Arvest went above and beyond to help us kick off the new school year with full stomachs and smiling faces. We are incredibly thankful for community partners who continue to show up and support our Bulldogs!

And a special shoutout for the Bulldog cups — those were definitely a hit! 🐾🥤 You know how to win over a Bulldog crowd!

A huge THANK YOU to Union Bank for providing breakfast and door prizes for our staff! This marks 27 years in a row of Union Bank blessing Waldron School District with their generosity and support. We are so grateful for their continued investment in our people and our schools.

Nothing says “we’re glad school is starting back” quite like a good breakfast and a chance at a few door prizes! We appreciate Union Bank for helping make our staff feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.
