Hey, FB Friends and Fam!! It’s me...your CORPORATE AMERICA HOOD CHICK...hard at work developing course materials that will champion black women’s ability to lead happy and more fulfilling lives in Corporate America. I’ll be looking for a few course beta testers in the near future. Please let me know in the chat if you’re interested (and feel free to share the opportunity with your friends). Here are a few of the topics that are on the horizon: 1) No matter how you feel, you’re a VIP too! 2) “Game” Gotta Recognize “Game” and 3) What THEY said and what THEY really mean. If you’re not already in the group, PLEASE JOIN US OVER AT THE REAL HOOD CHICKS OF CORPORATE AMERICA

What does "HOOD" chick mean and how a hood chick’s skill set translates to success in Corporate America?

Just did my first official Clubhouse room, “HOOD Chicks Sur-Thrival Guide to Corporate America.” It went really well and many women indicated that the topic was needed and that I should start a club (application already submitted). “HOOD” means many things to many people in and out of the African American community; however, I know there are many HOOD (hardworking/opportunity-driven/observant/dreamers) women who desire to thrive in Corporate America without being hung up with the baggage that’s related to being “hood” or a black woman and/or the “only” in the room.

To make sure that I have the information to super serve my black women in middle management clients with my "Hood Chicks SurThrival Guide to Corporate America" course, I'm asking my Facebook Friends and Family who fit this demographic to complete a quick 5 minute survey. I would love to reach at least 50 survey submissions so I am asking that you please share with your network. One lucky person will receive an Amazon gift card as a thank you for participating. Here's the link to the survey:

Investing in yourself is one of the highest forms of self love. The biggest differences between you and anyone else is what you have gained from your experiences, the books you have read and the people you have talked to along your journey of life. Be sure to keep showing yourself self love and enriching yourself and others along the way.
