If you haven’t downloaded the new CCPS app for parent/teacher communication as well as school updates yes, take a look at the post from Charles County Public Schools below for directions. Synergy and Rooms are the only approved methods of communication in the county.

Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) has a new mobile app that features push notification alerts, translated content based on the user’s preferred language and access to the new two-way parent communication tool called Rooms (launching the week of Aug. 17).

The app features CCPS news, events and the ability to see the overall CCPS calendar, as well as school/center calendars. The app is available in the Apple/Google app stores. Search for Charles County PS (MD). For more information visit https://www.ccboe.com/page/mobile-app.

Last week, our teachers were hard at work preparing for an amazing school year! From planning and setting up classrooms to learning about our School Improvement initiatives, our staff has been busy getting everything ready for our Tigers. 💛

We are SO excited for the 26–27 school year and can’t wait to welcome everyone back TOMORROW! 🐯📚

Schools have planned orientation events for families. Most of the events take place in August, prior to the first day of school. Parents with questions about a specific listed activity should call their child's school for more information. Open house events occur after the start of the school year. The Dr. Chinnadurai Devadason School Based Health Center is open, with services available for Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) students. The center is located on the Indian Head Elementary School campus, but all CCPS students are eligible to receive services.
