🚨Incoming 8th grade Washington D.C. fundraising opportunities!!🚨

For at least over 30 years, our Washington D.C. trip fundraising opportunities have helped families offset a significant portion of the trip cost. Because of these fundraisers, many students have been able to experience this incredible trip with much less financial stress on families.

If you believe your current 7th grader will be going on the D.C. trip next year, now is the time to start.
Right now are looking for volunteers to help with the following..

First; we are in need of families willing to help collect cans at our two locations including Blue Grass and Walcott. These cans need to be collected at least once a week, sorted by cans & bottles and taken to the recycling business. (I can provide more information if interested).

Second; we are in need of volunteers (kids and adults) to help run mini games, ticket booth, and prize tables at Walcott Days on Saturday July 18th. This opportunity pays a significant amount towards the kids trip so you won’t want to miss this one! Volunteer shifts are from 10:45am - 1:45pm & 1:45pm - 4:30pm. We need 22 volunteers for this event. (If interested, I can provide more details on this as well) I need volunteers set in place no later than June 15th (next Monday).

These opportunities have helped pay for a large chunk of the trip for many students.
Cut off to sign up for all volunteer opportunities is August 31, 2026 to be fair to those who do help and to keep things organized as much as possible.
