Wakefield Christian Preschool

Wakefield Christian Preschool Our philosophy is to provide a positive Christian educational atmosphere that will promote and enhance a child's academic and spiritual growth and development.

We are licensed by the state of Kansas for 11 children per class ages from 3 to kindergarten. We start the first Tuesday in September and follow the USD 379 school calendar. Class time is Tuesday through Friday 8:30-11:30 through the end of the school year. Our cost is $140.00 a month.

The Preschool Board would like to express our sincere gratitude to Garla Pierson for 20 years of dedication to educating young children. God has blessed her with a long and meaningful career. In all those years every activity, every song, and every story she has prepared, has been built upon a Christian foundation. Garla has been passionate about nurturing the lives of the children by making her classroom a fun and comfortable place to learn. We often find her working late at night and on weekends. She gives unconditionally from her heart. We greatly appreciate the time she has given throughout the years as a Christian Educator. May the Lord continue to guide and bless Garla during the next season of her life. Congratulations and Happy Retirement!! 🎉✝️💒🌸🎈

A shout out reminder to all former students, current students, friends and family....we will be hosting a retirement reception for our teacher Ms. Garla Pierson on Sunday, May 21 at the Wakefield United Methodist Church. The recognition of the students program will begin at 9:00 am and is part of our church service. The reception (luncheon) will follow in the fellowship hall. This is a come and go reception beginning around 10:00 am. We hope you can stop by to congratulate Ms. Garla on her retirement. Please help spread the word and plan on joining us to honor our wonderful, loving teacher. 🙏❤️💒

Bible stories are from Acts 17 - 28 — about Paul preaching in Athens; a boy (Eutychus) fell from a 3rd story window and died but Paul prayed and God brought him back to life; Paul preached the Good News to King Agrippa; Paul was on ship that wrecked but he and everyone on the ship survived; Paul was bitten by a viper but protected him from the poison.
