We continue celebrating 60 years of Prout with Sister Una, who was here when the school first opened 60 years ago!

Sister Una has so many memories from her time at Prout, including memories of the 60-year-old tree that still stands outside the school today. It was so special for her to share those memories and stories with our current students as we celebrate six decades of the Prout community.

60 years of memories, traditions, and community!

Congratulations to the seniors on their opening mass and pinning ceremony!

Congratulations to the Class of 2027 on their Senior Opening Mass and Pinning Ceremony! Surrounded by their school community, our seniors gathered to begin their final year at Prout with prayer, reflection, and gratitude. Each senior received their class pin, a symbol of the leadership, faith, and community they’ll carry with them this year and beyond.  Here’s to a year we are sure to remember!

Prout is proud to celebrate seniors Brooke Bradley and Luke Cavanagh, who have been named Commended Students in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Brooke and Luke are among approximately 34,000 students nationwide recognized for their exceptional academic promise, placing among the top 50,000 scorers from students who took the 2025 PSAT/NMSQT.

While Commended Students do not continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, both students will receive a Letter of Commendation from The Prout School and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation in recognition of their outstanding academic achievement. Congrats Brooke and Luke on this well-deserved honor!

Good food, great company, and a whole lot of Prout Pride! Thank you to everyone who came out for our Parents Social. It’s always a joy to see our community come together outside the classroom.

Did you know? In the 1970s, the Prout Metronomes marched in the New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade alongside Bishop Hendricken’s “Men of Music.” 60 years of tradition, talent, and Prout Pride. Help us honor our history and invest in our future through the 60 for 60 Scholarship Fund. Theproutschool.ejoinme.org/60for60years
