Sometimes the world feels a little tilted—in the best possible way.
Introducing the 2026 Warrior Marching Band Show - A View Askew!!

We will take the audience on a fast-moving adventure through a colorful world where nothing stays still for long. Angles shift, perspectives change, and every moment brings something new and unexpected. The production celebrates creativity, individuality, and the fun of seeing life from a different point of view.

As the field transforms into a moving mosaic of sound and motion, performers bring the audience into a world that is playful, unpredictable, and full of imagination.

This year’s soundtrack features Jungle Tango by the Jazz Mandolin Project, Place to Be by Hiromi, and Virtual Insanity by Jamiroquai.

Get ready for a season that twists expectations, challenges perspective, and proves that sometimes the best view is the one that’s a little Askew!!

For the 15th time the Wakefield Public Schools Music Department has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from The NAMM Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education.

The program spotlights and celebrates school districts across the United States for their exemplary dedication to music education and their ongoing efforts to ensure equitable access to music learning as part of a well-rounded education. Wakefield was selected through a comprehensive application and review process that evaluates key indicators, including funding, instructional time, participationrates, facilities and community support.

The perfect season is complete!!
Warrior Marching Band receives a Platinum Medal at NESBA Championship finishing in 1st place in Division 5 with a score of 97.89. This is the bands 3rd consecutive NESBA Championship!

The band also won high caption awards for:
Best Overall Effect
Best Visual
Best Music
Best Color Guard
Best Percussion

Congratulations to all the students, staff and parents who made this season such a success!!
