We had a great showing at the 2025 Music in the Parks Festival yesterday, taking home first place for all three ensembles, and Best Overall for Band and Choir!

Performing in New York City’s Carnegie Hall may be the chance of a lifetime for Prout High School student Logan Hoard.

One orchestra at Auschwitz was led by Alma Rosé, niece of the Austrian composer Gustav Mahler, who used her position as director of the orchestra to survive the gas chambers.

Congratulations to our four All-State musicians! For the first time, all of our student-musicians who auditioned were accepted into their ensembles! Cora, Skye, Matt, and Ray will perform with some of the other top musicians in the state this spring.

We’re sending another singer to one of the most prestigious stages in the world! Congratulations to Logan Hoard ‘26, tenor, who was selected to sing in the Choir as part of the 2025 American High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall in New York! The performance will take place in February. Logan is the third singer from Prout to participate, following Erin Abatiello ‘23 and Sophie Garman ‘24, who both were selected in 2023.
