Looking back at this first clip, I can't help but to reminisce about the beginning in 2015 as Immortals Fight Club with my partner Chris PIccione . The original Tyler Durdens of Wake Forest đŸ« đŸ§Œ

We started under chicken lights, holding onto a dream that almost nobody believed in, but we did.

There were struggles. Long days. Doubts. And then starting over in 2020đŸ˜·đŸ˜· . I pushed myself through it all, and now we have Inmortales MMA.

When I look at where this gym started compared to where it is today, I'm reminded that this was never just about creating CHAMPIONS in the ring. It was always about creating CHAMPIONS IN LIFE.

For some people, Muay-Thai is just a sport. For me, it's been a way to help people build confidence, find discipline, treat others with respect, protect the people they love, and become better versions of themselves. Those are the CHAMPIONS I care about most.

Now it's 2026, and I look around at this gym, my loyal students, this incredible community, and even my son growing up in it. It is all bigger than fighting; it's creating futures.

The second clip says it all. From chicken lights... to what feels like my own Taj Mahal. Progress won't happen overnight, but it happens when you refuse to quit. Five years from now, God Willing I'll still be coaching, still teaching discipline. Still helping kids and adults become stronger, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally.

Muay-Thai didn't just change my life. It became my purpose.

First and foremost, Thank God everything went well and nobody got hurt on this amazing weekend for Juan’s first boxing tournament. Team Inmortales took a trip to Wilmington for the Azalea Festival’s 48th Amatuer Boxing Tournament and Juan became the NEW 132 CHAMP!
We were especially thankful for the locals of Winlmington, they were a blessing to be around and instantly showed love.
As Coach, I want to express that this event was an example as to why he is a leader and captain. No one deserves this win like Juan. From the moment fight camp started up until he held his belt; he showed nothing less than his humble attitude and strict discipline to be his best.
On Saturday, Juan had one of his toughest matchs that really pushed him to use his physical strengths. With his epic winning performance, Juan moved on to his championship fight. On sunday, it was more of a chess match with a local rival, and Juan was always 2 steps ahead. With that being said I present to you....JUAN YOUR NEEEEEW 132 CHAMPION!!!
Surprisingly it was also Juan’s mom’s birthday and she got the best gift of all, a new shiny belt.

It doesn’t matter who’s the best in the gym, it matters who is willing to push themselves to be the best. The other members of Team Inmortales showed this and I, Coach Martinez, could not have been more proud to call you my team. They not only push themselves but they help push eachother. TOGETHER WE ARE FAMILIA!!!
