Wild and Cultivated at Puckett Acres

Wild & Cultivated at Puckett Acres is growing, and I’m looking for the right person to grow with us.

Most days you’ll find us outside.

We climb, explore, garden, create, observe, ask questions, care for animals, get muddy, and follow the interests of the children in front of us.

I’m looking for an additional teacher to join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30–1:00 during the school year (September-May)

This is probably not the right fit if you prefer desks, worksheets, and staying indoors.

It might be the perfect fit if:
🌿 You genuinely enjoy being outside.
🌿 You believe childhood should be full of wonder and play.
🌿 You aren’t afraid of dirt, bugs, rain, or messy art projects.
🌿 You love building relationships with children and families.
🌿 You can jump in wherever needed and work as part of a team.

Teaching experience is wonderful, but I’m most interested in finding someone who is dependable, warm, curious, and excited about nature-based learning.

Our first Picnic Table Build was such a success that we're doing it again! 🎉🛠️

Join Junior Trades Academy for a hands-on woodworking experience where we will help build two picnic tables for the students of Wild and Cultivated at Puckett Acres.

Participants will gain hands-on experience using tools, measuring, cutting, assembling, and working as a team, all while creating something that will serve local children for years to come!!

And if you attended our first picnic table build... come again! Repetition is where real skill is built. Every cut, measurement, and project is another opportunity to grow.

Whether you're picking up a tool for the first time or returning for round two, we'd love to have you join us!
