Looking for an aquarium or other pet supplies? Check out the NC Tortoise Sanctuary’s annual tag sale fundraiser! A wide variety of aquariums, terrariums, rabbit/Guinea pig cages, reptile lights and even doghouses!
For COVID-19/social distancing safety, this event WILL NOT be held in our traditional tag-sale arrangement. To prevent crowding, shopping/pick-up will be held on Friday, July 17th-Sunday July 19th from 10am to 1pm by appointment only. To request a time to shop/pick-up please text or call 919-817-7316. If texting, please include your day AND time preference. You will then receive a confirmation text with address. Mask are required.

Sad news folks, Reptile & Amphibian Day at the NC Museum of Natural Science (Saturday, March 14) has been cancelled. We have not heard if there are plans to reschedule or wait until March 2021.
A huge thanks to all of our family, friends, and volunteers who worked so hard on preparing for this event. We truly hope the only Corona you experience comes in a bottle with a slice of lime!

It's that time of year, Reptile & Amphibian Day! So, pack up the babies, bring the old ladies and enjoy a day with The Traveling Tortoise at The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences annual Reptile & Amphibian Day on Saturday, March 14th, 9am-5pm. Reptile & Amphibian Day is not only the largest educational reptile/amphibian event in the country, it is also a super fun, free day all ages will enjoy!
