Been There, Taught That

Who needs nightstands in the guest room when you have cases of paper? This is the first time we’ve ordered in bulk like this, it’s expensive up front but ends up saving us a couple thousand 💰. My sweet husband arranged all of this, and had them delivered to the wear-house at his work, loaded his car and drove them home (it took two trips) and carried each box inside. And yall, they are so heavy…I was zero help.

I’m still not sure where all of these cases are going to go, they are still in my foyer (along with a broken printer) and in the guest room…along with the rest of the random stuff we haven’t found a place for since we moved.

What’s even worse is actually printing on this paper and realizing it’s bent when it’s time to glue or even when packing orders!! This batch of defective paper was easy to find because it was the whole ream…😑

This super nice paper will now make packing slips or be the branding slips that go behind each notepad…oh well, at least it will be used for something.

I’m just giddy when I get to use my packing tape and see my logo wrapped around the box full of handmade gifts I’ve made. I think young me would be very proud and excited to know we have our own business!

Outgrowing the shared space, time for a fresh start! This has been a dream of mine for a long time! Follow along as we set up our new studio! I’ll need some advice and input!
This week during moving we’ve been hit with some unexpected surprises. But I’m keeping my head up and focused on the positives. Everything will be worth it!

You can have both. You really can. It’s hard work on top of the already demanding and privileged job of being a mother, but don’t think your kids have to stop you from what you want. Bring your kids along for the ride.
