When it’s a beautiful day outside, there’s no reason to stay inside and sit at a desk! ☀️ Mr. Clopper took his 5th graders outside for some fresh air and a new perspective. Students worked on editing and revising their My Horrible Transportation stories. 📝 Alternate learning environments are kid tested and teacher approved. ✅

Today we would like to introduce you to some of our Pre-K and ECS teachers. These classrooms serve our students that need the most support. They are basically magicians, as they can adapt lessons, environments and schedules on a minute by minute basis if that's what their students need to succeed. Thank you for all you do!

5th grade was at it again today with some hands on learning! Students in Mrs. Plunkett’s class were exploring how adding weight to a car affected how far it traveled. 🚗

Ms. Coley's 5th grade class had some fun this week while learning about the musculoskeletal system. 🦴 Students explored bones, muscles, ligaments and tendons by making Play-doh models of the human leg. They had such a great time with this hands on learning lesson!

We have some exciting news to share! Mr. Saeva was selected to receive a WCPSS Employee Excellence Award! 🥇
This recognition celebrates employees who go above and beyond and in their service to students, colleagues, and the school community. Mr. Saeva’s commitment and contributions to Jones dairy have clearly made an impact, and it is wonderful to see him recognized at the district level. 🏆
