Yes I was mulling oats in the video for oat flour to make homemade Reese’s PB cups but the photos are from the Vernada, Durum, Einkorn, and Turkey Red that I am experimenting with for my AP flour blend. Check out Wise Acres Farms just outside Topeka and at our local farmers markets too!

Sneaky pesky at today’s packed Jam session 🤗 Such a fun group. So much sharing, so engaged, babies all the way to grown up. Thank you all for making this dream come true. It all started at age 14 playing for my Mom’s daycare kids and now I get to do it even better and with my own baby (and her lil friends and their Moms 🥲).
People ask me all the time “what age do you work with” or “what’s your favorite age”?
I love these early childhood moments I get to be apart of. I I love my teenage students and my grown ups keep in it real through life and my tweens and my 4-10 year olds. I really enjoy the diverse stages and the skills I get tiler sharp with each.
I just can’t say enough how I wouldn’t get to do what I love without you all 🥹

Make bartering normal again 🍞🙋🏻‍♀️🫜🥩🍽️
I at one point could not afford lessons for even one of the instruments I teach.
My piano came from a torn down school and had names etched in the top of it.
If those pre-dispositions had not been met with creativity and grit I would NOT be a teacher today (also, go homeschooling for getting me started earlier).
We barter with our friend for yard work to pay towards our raw milk/yogurt/butter bill 🥛
I have had students pay in part with eggs, baked goods, cleaning and more to make it beneficial for everyone.
Less money being taxed/hours being worked away from our family to pay 😍
One of our most amazing friends and mentors became more than a surface interaction bc of a barter.
There’s gold to be found in good barters and relationships that aren’t surface.

M&M music Mondays cancelled for today.
L got stung by a wasp during our outside time so we’re going to cuddle and recoup this morning.
We’ll be at To The Stars Play Cafe this Saturday at 10am and class is on for next week barring any rouge bugs 🐝 🤣
