Honowai Elementary is an elementary school that services grades Pre-6 in Waipahu, HI He implemented the Honowai's Science Technology Center.
Honowai Elementary School was first called Waipahu Elementary II when it opened its doors in the year of 1967. Honowai was housed on the Waipahu Elementary campus from 1967-1968 and moved over to their current site the following year. When the first principal of Honowai, Walter Tanaka, planned the school, he organized teachers in two or three classrooms to team teach. He also had a vision to creat

Please review the attached policy with your child to ensure a good start. Going over these guidelines together will help your child understand what is expected and help them follow the rules from the beginning.

Come to our Meet and Greet this Thursday, July 30, from 4:00-6:00pm. We will start with announcements and an opening meeting at 4:00pm in the cafeteria. Then go to your child's classroom to drop off their school supplies and meet their teacher. We also have Honozon, our school store, open and available if you need school supplies. Remember cash payment only for the Honozon store. Pueo Prints will also be on campus to sell uniforms.
