Meet and greet will be from 3:00-5:30pm on Friday 7/31 and the first day of school will be on Monday August 3rd 😄

Treasures Summer Huaka’i - June 23. We had an amazing day visiting many places of historical significance. Our students started their journey learning about Kawaiahao Church, offered Oli for King Lunalilo and his father, offered ‘Oli to King Kamehameha I, offered ‘Oli to those who remain at Pohukaina, the original Royal Mausoleum, did a tour of Iolani Palace, enjoyed lunch on the palace grounds, and ended with a visit and ‘Oli to Queen Lili’uokalani. Daisy Hartsfield was gracious and joined us as we visited the Queen and shared about her role as their State Representative. Mahalo to our friends Honolulu Police Department District 5 CPT for joining us on the huaka’i. We appreciate you!

Waipahu Elementary will be hosting a School Registration Fair on June 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in our school office.

Our Bilingual School Home Assistants and community partners will be available to help families complete school registration and provide language support. Families from both Waipahu Elementary and Honowai Elementary are welcome to attend.

Please share the attached flyer with any families who may need assistance.

If you know of a child who is or will be 5 years old by July 31, please encourage the family to register for kindergarten as soon as possible. Early registration may allow students to participate in our free Kindergarten Ramp Up program in July.

Today we celebrated the 3rd-6th graders who were proficient on either their Science, ELA or Math assessments and those who demonstrated growth from last year. Amazing job!!🎉 👏🏻
