This month, Kimokeo Foundation celebrates its 10th year as a non-profit 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Throughout the years, we've earned many accomplishments. We’ve helped hundreds of Hawaiian immersion students and teachers in various ways throughout the county. We've supported environmental education programs during school-break sessions. We've partnered with environmental groups to create better water conditions for farmers and marine watch programs on Lāna‘i. During some of our most difficult times, we helped community members find homes and provided health and educational support for those in need during the pandemic and after the Maui wildfires. To top it all off, we purchased 2.7 acres of land in April 2024 in Māliko which will be used as a Hawaiian cultural education center.

In honor of our 10th anniversary, we'd like to work in the POWER OF 10! and ask supporters to make a $10 donation signifying each year that we've been serving our community. Then please share this message with 10 other people via social media. If you can help us keep the momentum going by sharing this with 10 others, then the power of 10, in honor of our 10th anniversary, will help us reach our monetary goal by the end of the month!

Aloha everyone,

If you're on Maui on May 10th, we'd like to invite you to join us in participating in the Maui Charity Walk. Kimokeo Foundation has applied for a grant from the annual fundraiser and we could use as many participants as possible to represent the Foundation. Bring your `ohana and friends and have them all sign up to support Kimokeo Foundation. We raise $50 per registered participant and we can also get some exercise!

MAUI COUNTY CHARITY WALK
Saturday, May 10, 2025 | War Memorial Special Events Field
7:30 am: Registration & Coffee
8:00 a.m: Charity Walk Begins at the Start Line
8:30 a.m: Festivities Under the Main Tent

If you're unable to participate on May 10th, then please help us spread the word. Supporters can send in donations or join our team. This will show our community's support to the event's organizers who will also contribute a portion of their overall donations, which are raised through the event, to our non-profit. The more participants we receive, the more we raise!

Aloha lā hānau iā `oe e `Anakala Kimokeo Kapahulehua! 77 looks great on you! We hope you enjoy your special day and celebrate it with your `ohana which is what you have always taught us is the most special part of life. And happy anniversary to you and Ryn as well!

On behalf of all of us at the Kimokeo Foundation we want to thank everyone who showed their aloha to Uncle during his birthday party yesterday. It was a wonderful gathering and we celebrated just as Uncle wanted - on the beach!!!!

In lieu of presents, he requested that his supporters make a donation to the Foundation.
