I was offered to film a career day in the 6th grade, which lead to being a part of a video crew in The Hawaiian Studies Program in High School. That's where I saw video as a powerful tool to share OUR stories, from OUR perspective. I was recruited into the #1 high school multi-media program called, Searider Productions. After high school, I went off to college and pursued my degree in Digital Filmmaking & Video Production. Upon completion, I dove into the film industry and throughout my career I noticed my health was on a decline, and so was a lot of people around me. I was approached by a good friend about "The Challenge" and my world was turned right side up! Today, I utilize my digital filmmaking & video production background to bring a message of hope to the world that if we all band together, things can change for the better for our mother Earth.
