☀️ SCHOOL CLOSURE NOTICE ☀️
Saint Michael Early Learning Center will be CLOSED Monday, August 17, following the recommendation of Hawaiʻi Catholic Schools and state officials.

This closure will help keep unnecessary traffic off our roads, allowing first responders, emergency crews, and city workers to safely clear roadways and restore our communities.

We pray for the continued safety of all our families and are grateful for those working to keep our communities safe. 🙏💙💛

Thank you to everyone who joined us this evening! It was a joy to welcome both new and returning families, introduce our amazing faculty and staff, and share a glimpse of the love and learning that awaits this school year.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with each of you as we nurture young hearts and minds in a faith-filled environment. We pray that this school year will be filled with God’s blessings, joyful discoveries, meaningful friendships, and countless moments of growth.

Today we joyfully celebrate Mrs. Ru and her 12 years of faithful service to our preschool family! 💙💛
Mrs. Ru is the heart behind so many smiles. As our wonderful teacher’s assistant, she greets each day with a warm smile, a rhythm in her step, and her signature “Cheehuu!” that instantly fills our school with laughter and joy.
Her kindness, positive spirit, and love for our keiki brighten every classroom she enters. Whether she’s comforting a child, lending a helping hand, or dancing through the day with contagious enthusiasm, Mrs. Ru reminds us that joy is one of God’s greatest gifts.
Thank you, Mrs. Ru, for 12 incredible years of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to the children and families of St. Michael School Early Learning Center. We are truly blessed to have you as part of our ʻohana.

💙💛 Happy 9th Anniversary, Mrs. Rowena! 💛💙

Today we celebrate 9 wonderful years of Mrs. Rowena’s faithful service to St. Michael School. As a preschool teacher and Religion teacher, she has touched the hearts of countless children and families with her kindness, grace, and unwavering dedication.

While we celebrate this milestone, we also say goodbye as Mrs. Rowena begins an exciting new chapter at a new school.

Thank you for the love, faith, and joy you’ve shared over the years. You will always be a cherished part of our St. Michael family.
