What a way to kick off the school year!

More than 2,500 guests joined us Sunday for the Twin Towns Block Party, and we couldn’t be more grateful! It was amazing to see so many NDSCS supporters, alumni, families and community members come together to celebrate the start of a new school year—not just for our Wildcats, but for students across the Twin Towns. ❤️🖤

And now…the moment you’ve been waiting for! 🎉 Our lucky drawing winners are:

Friend of the Foundation: Denise Miller ('89)

Even after retiring from the NDSCS Alumni Foundation, Denise Miller never stopped giving back. From volunteering at the Red Tie Gala to supporting scholarships and the Gayle Miller Softball Complex, Denise and her family continue to make a lasting difference for NDSCS students and alumni.

2026 Homecoming Parade Grand Marshal: Jim Kapitan ('62)

Jim Kapitan has dedicated a lifetime to service. A proud NDSCS alumnus, he enjoyed a distinguished career with the City of Fargo, served as a Colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and North Dakota Air National Guard, and continues to serve his community today as a Cass County Commissioner and longtime NDSCS supporter.
