Congratulations to the 🔟 North Dakota high school students named as semifinalists for the 2026 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program! 🏅

Established in 1964, this highly selective program honors the nation's most distinguished graduating seniors — selected from more than 3.7 million students nationwide. Finalists will receive a Presidential Medallion and be recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Congratulations to all of the choir students last night on an excellent concert. Thank you to all the seniors who shared their time and talent with others for the past four years. Congratulations to Adi Dodge on receiving the Mary Cotton Marshall scholarship as well as the National Choral Award. Congrats also to Jasmyn Benedict for receiving the HuskyAward and to Laken Muller and Jacoby Dodge for receiving the most improved awards. The students have done an amazing job of working together as a team to create beautiful music throughout the year. May they always have a song in their heart 💕

Congratulations to all of the state music participants! They represented Wahpeton HS well at state vocal solo and ensemble contest! We had four state stars and four excellent performances! So proud of each of the students! Come to our final concert on May 11th at 7:30 pm to hear some of these awesome solos/ensembles!

Congratulations to Adalyn Picken, Adrian Barrera and Liam Nordick on being selected to perform in the UND Mixed Honor Choir under the direction of Dr Casey Behm. The concert culminates with “Battle Hymn of the Republic” featuring the mixed choir, treble choir, orchestra and band. ,
