We are always thankful for the strong working relationship we have with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department and Wahpeton Police Department. This morning, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department brought their K9 to campus to help ensure the safety of our students and staff. With all of the concerning things happening in the world today, we want to do everything we can to keep our campus safe and make sure nothing that could pose a risk ends up on school grounds. Our local law enforcement partners come in and conduct these safety checks a couple of times each year, and we truly appreciate their continued support, dedication, and commitment to keeping our school community safe.
Thank you to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department and Wahpeton Police Department for everything you do for our students, staff, and community!

How great is this! Yesterday, we had a family with three generations attend Wahpeton Indian School/Circle of Nations: (Mom) Grandma, daughter, and granddaughter!
All three have been students at WIS/CNS, with the granddaughter being a current student. What a special legacy and a wonderful testament to the lasting impact of our school! Thanks Diane and T'Lana for the visit. Thanks T'Lana for letting your daughter attend and to get the experience that you enjoyed and that meant so much to you.

We would like to give a huge thank you to the 2-time defending NJCAA Division III National Champions NDSCS Wildcats softball team (3 championships in the last 4 years) for coming over last night and spending time with our students on their very first day on campus!
Our students had an absolute blast playing softball, volleyball, and basketball with the team, and they even joined in for a round dance with our students. It was an incredible way to kick off the school year and create some special memories for our students.
Coach Oehlke has built a true dynasty with his program, and it’s clear that so much of that success comes from the incredible team culture he has created.
Thank you again, Coach Oehlke, for bringing your team over and sharing your time with our students, the kids loved it! We truly appreciate you and your team being such great members and role models of our community!
