🦷 A Great Smile Starts with Great Students! 😁

This morning I spent a few hours in the NDSCS Dental Clinic, where student Amie cleaned my teeth as part of her clinical training.

I have to say—she did an exceptional job! Professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. It was a great reminder of the outstanding students and faculty we have right here at NDSCS.

The clinic was hopping with activity as students gained valuable hands-on experience while providing quality dental care to members of our community. I enjoyed visiting with faculty, meeting students, and seeing firsthand the impact of this incredible program.

If you're looking for your next dental cleaning, I encourage you to consider the NDSCS Dental Department. Appointments are available to the public, services are offered at a reduced cost, and you'll be helping students develop the skills they need to become tomorrow's healthcare professionals.

Experiences like today also remind me why scholarships matter. Students like Amie are working hard to build their futures while preparing to serve communities across our region. Through the generosity of our donors, we can help make an NDSCS education more accessible for students today and for generations to come.

Thank you, Amie, for the outstanding care and for representing NDSCS so well. I left with a cleaner smile and an even greater appreciation for the incredible work happening in our Allied Health programs every day.

Are you due for a summer cleaning?? The NDSCS dental hygiene students would love to see you!
Our students are here through the month of June and have openings for children and adult prophys on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays of each week at 9:00 and 1:00. Prophy appointments are $45 for adults and $35 for children under age 12; these appointment costs include the cleaning, radiographs, and a fluoride treatment.
