Kindergarten has been working so hard this month to earn their music incentive day! We learned and played the “Wolf Game” to celebrate! The giggles just make me smile!

2nd grade had so much fun learning this Russian folk dance! The agility rings were so helpful keeping us all together!

Check out 2nd grade over here reading rhythms like pros! They have been working so hard on whole notes , half notes, quarter notes, quarter rests, and eighth note pairs! Way to go 2nd grade!

Hey 4th grade parents!!!!
Your kiddos are already gearing up for their fall program on November 12th! Our program theme is all about movies. The students are encouraged to dress up as any movie character (appropriate for school of course) or actor. Some stipulations are…no inflatable costumes, big hats, masks that cover their face or “scary” costumes. So, as they are in search of the perfect Halloween costume, they could double up for the program!! I’m sure they could go through closets and find the perfect costume!

This week, 4th grade was introduced to singing in harmony. This is not an easy feat! They get better every. time. we. practice! I am so impressed with the progress they have made in just a couple of class periods! Keep the focus, keep the listening to those around you and keep working hard!!

Practicing procedures made fun! We “ follow the leader” for so many things in music…to get supplies, pick up and put away instruments, and to line up at the end of class! Our kindergarten “little ducks” had so much fun practicing this skill!

Remembering and honoring on this anniversary of 9/11. Some of Mrs Shada’s 4th grade were honored to lead the school with the National Anthem on this Patriots Day!
