Along with our new morning announcements this year, each classroom also begins the day with a morning meeting. During these meetings, students and teachers discuss a variety of topics, including our Catholic faith, goals for the week, current events, and simply what is going well in their day.
These meaningful conversations provide a wonderful opportunity to connect, reflect, and grow together. It is a beautiful way to begin each school day as a community.

At daily Mass today, we heard about St. Monica, whose son, St. Augustine, has his feast day tomorrow. We were reminded of the many hardships St. Monica endured and how often she cried and prayed over the poor decisions her son made before he finally recognized the importance of faith and began taking his spiritual life seriously.

Today, we pray especially for all mothers and their children, that children may make wise and faithful choices, bringing peace and joy to their mothers’ hearts. May St. Monica’s example remind us of the power of a mother’s love, perseverance, and faithful prayers. 🙏❤️

Mrs. Barger is enjoying some time away from the office and getting back to her roots in the classroom! She has been visiting classrooms, reading fun books, and even putting the teachers’ names into the stories in place of the book’s teacher. It has been such a fun way for her to connect with students and bring a little extra joy to their day!

This week marks the beginning of our students delivering the morning announcements! We’ve already heard so much positive feedback from both students and staff about what a wonderful way this is to start the day. We’re excited to continue this new tradition and showcase our students’ voices.

Mrs. Sullivan visited us during lunch and brought fresh vegetables and herbs grown in the Bishop Neumann Community Garden. We are grateful for the opportunity to use these fresh, locally grown foods in preparing meals for our students.
