Update from Mr. Kakazu

Wheeler Elementary families,

Due to the uncertainties of our electrical power and out of an abundance of caution, Wheeler Elementary will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, August 18. Thank you for your understanding.

All HIDOE public schools and offices statewide will be closed Monday, August 17.

WE had a fabulous morning practicing our assembly skills with the whole school! Our admin team— Mr. Kakazu, Mrs. Maea, and Mr. Matsuda— got the students excited and ready for the year. WE introduced our Aloha Ambassadors and Student Council and then our Student Council led the students in Wheeler’s Alma Mater. It’s a great day to be a Warrior!
