💚 Learning, Leading, and Growing Together at Teague Elementary! 💚

Today was a day full of learning, collaboration, and leadership for our Teague Elementary teachers and staff!

📚 Kaylee Powers joined us to share valuable information on Special Education Law, interventions, and collaborative practices, helping us continue to grow in the ways we support ALL students.

🌟 Dr. Shelby Scarbourgh with Leader in Me visited with our staff about intentionally incorporating the Leader in Me principles and 7 Habits throughout our school while bringing our new Habit House System to life.

🏠 We were also grateful to welcome Dr. Amber Wilkins from Pryor Elementary, who met with our House Leaders to answer questions, share ideas, and provide guidance as we prepare to launch Habit Houses with our students and staff.

Our teachers and staff finished the day meeting in their individual houses, putting Habit 1: Be Proactive into action as they planned for upcoming events. Houses created chants, mottos, traditions, and ideas for collaboration that will help build excitement, belonging, and school spirit.

We may be divided into eight houses, but we share one purpose, one school, and one family. ❤️

8 Houses. 1 Family. One Teague. 🐾🏠

We can’t wait for our students to experience everything that’s ahead!

Dear Parents and Families,

Beginning Tuesday, August 18, our car rider students will be released at 3:10 p.m.

Because our car line typically moves quickly and efficiently, we anticipate that this small adjustment will have little to no impact on your normal pickup routine. We also want to reassure families with children at other schools in the district that this change should not interfere with your ability to pick up your other children on schedule.

We appreciate your flexibility, understanding, and continued support.

The Wagoner Education Foundation continues to be such an incredible support for our classroom teachers! 💙🐾

What a great fundraiser and an easy way to give back to the Foundation while supporting the educators who pour so much into our students every day.

And with this Oklahoma heat… it’s an even better excuse to skip cooking and support a great cause! ☀️🥵🍽️

Last week the Foundation announced that over $40,000 was granted to Wagoner teachers for their classrooms and students. Pizza Hut wants to help us continue these grants. Community members, teachers, parents, please join us as we celebrate our teachers! Thanks to Doug and Holly Cromwell for hosting this event.
