Natchez families we continue to be closed. Safety first, please be careful out there. We hope to see our students on Monday!!

This is an important message from the Washoe County School District.

The fires in our community continue to significantly impact our community with changing conditions and power outages.

In consultation with public safety officials, the following nine schools will remain closed on Friday, August 14:

1. Desert Heights Elementary School

2. Silver Lake Elementary School

3. Lemmon Valley Elementary School

4. Alyce Taylor Elementary School

5. Jesse Hall Elementary School

6. Spanish Springs Elementary School

7. Natchez Elementary School

8. Shaw Middle School

9. Spanish Springs High School

At this time, all other schools are scheduled to be in session on Friday.

There will be no changes to bus transportation service. Transportation will continue Friday exactly as it operated on Thursday, August 13. Students who were assigned transportation on Thursday will remain assigned transportation on Friday, while students who did not have transportation Thursday will not have bus service on Friday.

We will continue to work with public safety officials and monitor this emergency impacting our community.

Parents our school continues to be closed. Just a reminder we do have some canned goods, pasta, pancake mix, vegetables, fruit, all canned items peanut butter chicken tuna available in the foyer if you need please come help yourself.

Natchez Families we hope you are all keeping safe. A reminder that Natchez food pantry is also available. We are open 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., while school is out. Please help yourself in the foyer for any items you may need, bags are on the botton shelf :-). Stay safe and we look forward to having our students back in school soon.
