For those who do not yet know, Ohio changed the requirements for obtaining your CCW license several months ago. Instead of a 12 hour training requirement they have a new requirement of 8 hours (making it much easier for those who have busy schedules to take the required class). The new change in the Ohio requirements has also brought Ohio into line with several new states for reciprocity purposes. Your Ohio license issued after 3/22/15 allows you to carry in 40 states - making the Ohio CCW license one of the most sought after CCW licenses in the United States. Ohio also recently has begun to allow non-residents, who are employed in Ohio, to apply for and receive an Ohio CCW License.
