✨ A FIRST DAY FOR THE BOOKS! 🧡🐾

What an incredible first day in the brand-new Anson Middle School facility! Today was truly one for the books—a day filled with firsts, excitement, and so many special moments for our students and staff.

Our students did an amazing job learning new routines, navigating a new building, and adjusting to a new chapter at AMS. We are incredibly proud of the way they showed up today with excitement, patience, and a willingness to learn.

Today was a reminder that we are building something special together. 🧡

A brand-new building.
New routines.
New memories.
And a whole lot of Bearcat pride! 🐾

Future Bearcat swimmers, this is for YOU!

The Anson Middle School Swim Club is a developmental program created to introduce middle school students to swimming, strengthen their skills, build confidence in the water, and prepare them for the opportunity to become members of the Anson High School Swim Team in the future!

Our goal is simple: build strong swimmers now and create a strong feeder program for Anson High School Swimming. 🐾

The AMS Swim Club is not a competitive team and does not have a regular competition schedule. Our focus is on learning, improving stroke technique, building endurance and preparing students for high school swimming. If opportunities to compete become available along the way, we may explore those opportunities!

No competitive swim experience is required. Students must:
🏊 Be able to swim the freestyle stroke
💦 Feel comfortable and confident in the water
📋 Have a current physical on file

SEPTEMBER SWIM WORKOUTS
📅 September 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30
⏰ 4:00–5:00 p.m.
📍 Little Park Pool | Wadesboro

Swimming is also a great full-body workout that builds endurance, strength and overall conditioning, making it great cross-training for students who participate in other sports!

🚗 Families are responsible for transportation to and from all swim workouts.

Come learn. Improve. Build confidence. And maybe become a future Anson High School swimmer!

Open House Reminder 🧡🐾

📣 REMINDER, BEARCAT FAMILIES!

Our Anson Middle School Open House is TOMORROW — Thursday, August 20th! 🎉

📍 New Facility: 290 Anson High School Rd.

We will offer two convenient times:
🕘 9:00–11:00 AM
🕓 4:00–6:00 PM

This is a drop-in event, so families can come at a time that works best for you!

During Open House, parents can:
🏫 Tour the new school
🚌 Sign up for transportation if you have not already done so
📚 Pick up your child's schedule
👋 Meet your child's teachers

Parking: Please park in the front of the school and enter through the Main Office door.

We can't wait to welcome our Bearcat families and see you at Open House! 🧡🐾

📢 AMS Families, please take a moment to review our new Car Rider Line Diagram!

As we prepare to welcome our students to the new Anson Middle School facility, we want to make sure everyone is familiar with the proper traffic flow for morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.

We ask that all families please review the diagram and follow the designated traffic pattern to help keep our car rider line safe, organized, and moving efficiently.

Thank you in advance for your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we navigate drop-off and pick-up procedures at the new middle school. We know there may be an adjustment period, and we truly appreciate everyone working together as we get into a routine.

Thank you for helping us make arrival and dismissal a safe and smooth experience for our students, families, and staff!
