What if your senior could start the college process with an acceptance instead of an application?

Through NC College Connect, eligible North Carolina public high school seniors receive a personalized list of NC colleges and universities where they have already been offered direct admission. No traditional application, essay, test score, or recommendation letter is required to claim an offer.

Today, 105,036 NC public high school seniors received direct admission offers for the 2027-28 academic year. Of those students, 64% received offers from four-year colleges and universities across the state.

Participating institutions include 11 UNC System universities, 29 North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities, and all 58 North Carolina community colleges.

Students can log in to NC College Connect to review their offers and complete a short form for each institution where they would like to claim a spot.

Claiming a spot does not commit them to enroll. Students can claim more than one offer while comparing programs, financial aid, and other opportunities.
