🌱🌻 Our Garden in a Box Adventure! 🌽🍅

This year, First Years Academy was excited to participate in the Garden in a Box program! With the help of the Master Gardeners, our school-age children rolled up their sleeves and planted an amazing garden.

Together, they planted tomatoes, peppers, pumpkins, carrots, corn, beans, wildflowers, and sunflowers. Throughout the summer, they've loved watering the plants, watching them grow, and learning where food comes from.

They can't wait to harvest what they've grown and enjoy the fruits (and vegetables!) of their hard work.

☀️ We can't believe it's already July! Summer is flying by, and we've been having so much fun at First Years Academy! 💙

This week, we enjoyed Bounce House & Bubble Day 🏰🫧, beautiful weather for Bike Day 🚲, and took our learning outside for our Outdoor Classroom. Although our splash pad field trip was canceled due to the weather, some of our classrooms made the most of it by having fun playing in the rain! 🌧️💦

We can't wait to see what the rest of summer has in store! ☀️

☀️ Another busy and fun-filled week at First Years! The children had a week full of exciting experiences, including a trip to Waterford Park, a special performance from the Waconia Marching Band, Family Fun Night, and ending the week with Bike Day! 🚲

It was so wonderful seeing everyone together, connecting, and enjoying the evening. We appreciate you being part of our First Years Academy community and making the night so special! 😊

🍩 Thank you to all the dads who came out and enjoyed Donuts with Dad this morning! We loved seeing everyone spending time together and sharing a special morning with us.

☀️ What a great start to summer! ☀️

We had so much fun kicking off the season with some of our favorite summer activities! Last week we enjoyed our first outdoor picnic of the season, showed off our riding skills during Bike Day 🚲, and learned all about staying safe around school buses during School Bus Safety! 🚌

We are so excited for all the fun learning experiences, adventures, and memories this summer will bring! 🌻😎
