Today we explored patterns through hands-on learning! 🔵🟡🔴
Patterns help children develop important early math and critical thinking skills. As we identified, created, and extended simple patterns, we practiced observing, predicting what comes next, and problem-solving together.

Learning about patterns builds a strong foundation for future math concepts while encouraging creativity and attention to detail. The smiles and excitement as everyone discovered the next piece in the sequence made today's activity a success!

Today we made Rice Krispies treats, and it turned into a fun sensory learning experience!
As we mixed the melted marshmallows and butter with the cereal, everyone noticed just how sticky everything felt. We talked about how the texture changed from smooth and gooey to crunchy and chewy as we mixed the ingredients together.

Exploring different textures helps build sensory awareness, descriptive language, and fine motor skills while making learning hands-on and engaging. It was exciting to compare words like sticky, gooey, crunchy, soft, and chewy as we created our delicious treat.

🎨 Our Pre-K kiddos have been exploring the world of famous artists! They learned about Wassily Kandinsky, Edvard Munch, Pablo Picasso, and Georges Seurat, recreating each artist's unique style through fun, hands-on projects.
These activities encourage creativity, strengthen fine motor skills, and introduce children to art history in an engaging and meaningful way. We are so proud of our little artists and their amazing masterpieces! 🖌️❤️

🍓🍌 Kids Café is in full effect! 🍇🥝

Today was packed with learning, hands-on fun, and delicious treats!

We started by talking about the importance of washing our hands. Since we can't actually see germs, we did a fun activity by covering everyone's hands in green paint to represent those "invisible germs." Then the kids washed their hands to see just how important it is to scrub well and get all the "germs" off!

Next, we went over the kitchen utensils we would be using and introduced all of the ingredients for our recipe. Once everyone was ready, it was time to get cooking!

The kids mixed together the cream cheese and whipped cream, carefully cut up the fresh fruit, and then combined everything to make a delicious fruit salad. The best part, of course, was getting to enjoy our tasty creation together—it was so yummy! 😋🍓

I had an absolute blast spending time with these amazing kids today. Watching them learn new skills, work together, and have fun in the kitchen is such a joy. I can't wait for our next Kids Café adventure! ❤️
