Leadership and Instructional Foundations for Texas | LIFT | Texas Education Agency 06/03/2026

Hallsburg ISD is proud to continue our work through the Texas Education Agency's LIFT High-Quality Instructional Materials Grant, which supports schools in providing high-quality, research-based instructional resources for students and teachers.

As part of this initiative, the district has adopted new state-supported instructional materials that are fully aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and designed to support the rigor and expectations of the STAAR assessment through Bluebonnet Learning. These resources provide our teachers with high-quality tools and lessons that ensure students are receiving instruction that is closely connected to state standards and academic expectations.

The LIFT Grant allows Hallsburg ISD to implement these materials while providing additional support and professional learning for teachers, helping us strengthen classroom instruction and improve student outcomes.

Our goal remains the same: ensuring every student has access to a high-quality education that prepares them for success both in the classroom and beyond. We are excited about the opportunities this grant brings and look forward to the positive impact it will have on teaching and learning across our district. It’s a great day to be a HAWK!💙

Dear Hallsburg ISD Parents and Families,

This spring, our students completed the STAAR assessments, and results will soon be available online for families to review. While STAAR is only one measure of student progress, it does provide helpful information about your child’s academic strengths and areas where additional support may be needed.

Beginning June 16, parents of students in grades 3–8 may access STAAR results directly through the Texas Assessment Family Portal at www.texasassessment.gov.

Through the portal, families can:
• View student scores and performance levels
• See which questions were answered correctly and incorrectly
• Access resources and practice tools to support learning at home
• Better understand student progress and growth

We encourage families to review these results and continue partnering with us to support student success. We are proud of the hard work our students and staff have shown throughout this school year.

Thank you for your continued support of Hallsburg ISD.

What an incredible Fun Day! ☀️🎉
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make today such a special experience for our students. We are so grateful for the support of Hallsburg VFD, the McLennan County Constable’s Office Precinct 1, Prime Port Rentals, Spencer from Big Top Bouncies, our amazing staff, and our wonderful PTO for helping pull off an unforgettable day.
Seeing the smiles, laughter, and excitement on our students’ (and parents) faces made it all worthwhile. We know our kids had an absolute blast today and will definitely be sleeping soundly tonight! ❤️
Thank you to everyone who helped create memories our students will cherish.
