Hey, hey, hey! It's the SBA and this is the Baylor Law Brief!

1: Supply Drive for Areas Impacted by Hurricane Laura

Baylor Law family, some of our classmates are working to collect supplies and send them directly to areas that are still suffering the effects of Hurricane Laura. Starting around 10:00 am today, SBA will designate a space in Tent 1 to collect supplies. The greatest need is for water, but other needs include canned goods, clothes, underwear, shoes, pillows and blankets, tarps, towels, flashlights, and home repair supplies. We will collect supplies until this Thursday at 4:00 pm.

CONGRATULATIONS to Baylor Law students James Fryer & Blaine Hill who just finished 2nd in this year’s Texas State Moot Court Competition sponsored by the Texas Young Lawyer’s Association!!

The entire tournament was conducted online via Zoom, proving that even in times of a global pandemic Baylor Law finds a way to excel at advocacy!
