Waco Flight Training is Waco's premier independent flight training provider. Waco Flight Training is Waco's premiere independent flight school.

Owned and operated by Texas' first and only 4-time NAFI-accredited Master Flight Instructor, our mission is to:

-Go above and beyond typical flight training by teaching clients *how to learn* how to fly;

-Train clients to become "Chief Pilot of One" by making professional-level decisions;

-Inspire clients to become lifelong students of aviation; and

-Inspire families to become aviation familie

s by adapting flying into their lifestyles. We offer flight training for all single-engine certificates and ratings, in addition to providing tailwheel training in customer-owned aircraft.

Congratulations to our founder and chief pilot Aaron Dabney for earning his 6th consecutive accreditation as a Master Flight Instructor!

This accreditation must be renewed every 2 years and requires a rigorous peer review of an aviation educator’s active work in instruction, publication & other educational work related to aviation, service to the aviation profession, and professional development activities.

Aaron is the only 6-time NAFI-accredited Master Flight Instructor in Texas.
