Representatives from Navy Federal Credit Union recently stopped by Waco HS JROTC for a financial presentation. This educational session was designed to teach students personal finance basics, such as budgeting, saving, credit, and investing. These practical skills for real-world money management foster financial literacy before graduation.

Huge shoutout to our incredible seniors who represented Waco ISD at the Central Texas Dealers Auto Tech Competition at TSTC! 🛠️🏎️

Waco High brought the heat with two talented teams. A massive congratulations to our Allen Samuels team for taking home 2nd Place! Our Kia team also put in a fantastic performance and, most importantly, had a blast showcasing their skills. While only the top three were announced, we couldn’t be prouder of the hard work and professional growth both teams displayed.

We also want to give a big nod to our neighbors at University High School, whose automotive students also stepped up to the plate to compete, proving that the future of the industry in Waco is in very capable hands!

These students have gained invaluable real-world experience interning at local dealerships, and we know these seniors are headed for big things. The future looks bright (and well-tuned)! 🌟🔧
