LaunchPad is a monthly evening designed for middle and high school students to explore real STEAM careers through hands-on activities, guest speakers, and interactive challenges. Students will also learn about local pathways at MCC, TSTC, and Baylor—and discover career opportunities right here in Waco.

We appreciate our partnership with Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest and the opportunities they provide to our students, highlighted by our seniors' participation in a career exploration fair on the hospital campus today!

Our students recently took on the HOSA Area 5 Spring Leadership Conference, and what a weekend it was! From diving deep into the inner workings of HOSA to making new connections with future healthcare pros from across the region, our team represented us with pride!

A massive shoutout to Brittany Leija, who officially punched her ticket to the State Leadership Conference​ in Medical Art Poster! ​She’ll be heading to Corpus Christi on March 24–26th to compete against the best in Texas. But she won’t be alone! Several of our HOSA officers will also make the trip to represent our school and lead the way for our chapter at the state level.

We are so proud of the hard work, networking, and leadership shown by all our competitors. Next stop: Corpus!

We are thrilled to share that Mrs. Misty Watson has been named our Campus Teacher of the Year!

From her very first day, Mrs. Watson has stood out as an awesome coworker and a dedicated mentor. Her peers highlighted her "inventive" teaching style, noting how deeply she cares about ensuring her students are prepared for life beyond the classroom. She isn't just a teacher; she is a leader who is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. We are so lucky to have her passion and energy on our team.

Kicking off Thanksgiving with service! 🦃 I am incredibly proud of our amazing HOSA Chapter for volunteering their time bright and early at the Turkey Trot this morning. They brought fantastic energy and truly embodied the spirit of community.

A huge thank you to our wonderful Advisors, Mrs. Watson and Ms. Lewis, for leading this event!

I also want to personally thank the HOSA team for all their cheers—they certainly helped me finish the 5k!
