supporting legal documentation (e.g., court order) to avoid conflict
surrounding the release of the child.

If your child has a constant cough and doesn’t properly know how to cover their nose keep them home
At sign-in, I will observe each child for signs and symptoms of illness and
continue to observe them throughout the day. Parents should have an
alternate child-care plan arranged in advance in the event that their child
becomes ill while in my care. If a child exhibits any exclusionary symptoms
of illness, parents are contacted and the child must be picked up within one
hour of the call. Parental cooperation is necessary to promote a healthy
environment for all children in my care. A child showing any of the
following signs of illness 24 hours prior to sign-in should not be brought to

My goal is to help your child develop positive self-esteem, respect for
themselves and others and healthy ways of expressing their needs and
feelings. I will work to accomplish this by:
Maintaining a safe environment that uses developmentally appropriate
activities based on each child’s ability, attention span and need
Establishing positive guidelines for behavior that set clear,
understandable limits and consistent routines
Providing a fun learning environment that promotes consistent routines and
well-defined expectations
Recognizing child's efforts and using praise through kind words or
actions to reinforce desirable behaviors
Using problem solving techniques instead of punishment
I will strive to assist parents in the training and guidance of
their children. I will provide parents with feedback about their children,
positive and negative.
If a child’s behavior is uncontrollable and continues to present a problem
and the parent is uncooperative in working with me to correct
the negative behavior, the child will be dismissed from Mimi’s In
Home Child Care program.
Any disrespectful, disruptive or otherwise inappropriate behavior from parents and/or authorized agents will not be tolerated and will lead to immediate
dismal.
