Congratulations to CTSA classical guitarist Ben Taylor for an excellent Suzuki book 7 recital last Sunday, Oct 9, 2016, at Dayspring Baptist Church in Waco. Ben performed technically demanding works by Bach and Vivaldi, among others. Way to go, Ben! Many thanks to CTSA faculty members Amanda Schubert (vln), Michael MacLaughlin (vln), and Chris Bedoya (cello) for accompanying Ben on the Vivaldi Guitar Concerto in D Major.

CTSA classical guitarist Ben Taylor will perform a Suzuki Guitar Book 5 recital on Sunday, October 4, 2015, at 3:00 in the Commons at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church (305 North 30th Street, Waco). Congratulations to CTSA violinist Haeun Moon, runner up in the Fort Worth Symphony’s concerto competition last spring. Haeun performed Saint-Saens’s “Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso” with the FWSO on Sunday, September 20, at Arborlawn United Methodist Church.
To prospective parents: If you missed the orientation meeting on Sept 12, your child can still participate. CTSA has teacher availability on all instruments and would especially like to add a few more viola, cello, and double bass students.
