The Troop was officially chartered to Waco Montessori School on February 19, 1999 with 13 Boy Scouts and six adult leaders. At the time of its charter, Waco Montessori School was already the chartered organization for Cub Scout Pack 453. In many respects, Troop 453 was an extension of Troop 497, which produced four of its charter Boy Scouts and its first Scoutmaster. In 2005, due to a lack of spac

Day 2 Smithsonian Aerospace Museum, tour of the Capital, Washington Monument and dinner at Gordon Ramsay’s Fish & Chips.
Special thank you to Congressman Pete Session and his Baylor Alumni, Staff Assistant Charis for her tour through the Capital. Scouts were able to speak with Eagle Scouts and see how they are able to continue building relationships for years to come.

We were able to celebrate our Eagle Scouts and their achievements together with council members. Congrats to our 5 Eagle Scouts: Sam Barron - 2019, Dalton Collier, Logan Rosas & Andrew Mornes-Jones - 2020 and Michael Aguilar 2021. Big Congrats to Todd Modgling for receiving his Wood Badge. He is with Troop 476 and is the Band Director at Lake Air Montessori.
For the safety of our families and the impending weather, we will not be setting flags for President's Day.

Updated Youth Protection Training is Now Available In early February, the BSA introduced newly updated youth protection training that is required for all volunteers before October 1, 2018.
