In honor of the New year, fresh starts, evolving to make life more enjoyable, adapting for success I have some news. 🥰

This last year was one of growth, new chapters and closing several old ones that held on as long as they could. Lots of major life changes happened in 2022 and I’m thankful for every single one but as a result of focusing on those kinds of wins for the year Mommy’s A Crafter took a big hit and was neglected pretty much the entire year aside from a few random posts in an attempt to hold onto this thing that I love.

This being said I’m taking a break, for I’m not sure how long, from Mommy’s A Crafter. Crafting just isn’t as lucrative as it was when I started 9 years ago and I put in soooo much time for such little pay that I’ve lost a lot of my love for it quite frankly. I’ve spend years doing research, following trends, learning the ins and outs of every machine and every program. I’ve spend hours on single items making sure they are made to a quality I’d be happy to pay for, after that hours taking and editing photos, making listings, posting all over the planet, responding to leads all to get one or two sales.

While I’ll always be a creative person I won’t be following this dream in particular for the foreseeable future and instead I’ll be focusing on legitimizing and growing my tattoo business. I am soooo very thankful from the bottom of my heart for each and every customer I’ve had over the last decade, thankful for the opportunity to grow and do everything I have thankful for every single order especially the ones that unknowingly helped my family get through a tight spot.

It’s ok to evolve and it’s ok to miss what something use to be but it’s just not what it was when I loved it so for that I’m closing this chapter and while I’ll miss Mommy’s A Crafter I am beyond excited to grow and enjoy the journey with “Goddess Ink”.
