Here’s a tune my friend and I did together with and . She wrote the tune and we turned it into a thing after a couple afternoon sessions in the studio. Super happy with it and super proud of Maddie.

I’ve known Maddie for probably 8 years now. She just moved to Denton to study at UNT and get plugged into the music scene up there. We’ve worked on everything from BB King, to Zeppelin to Phoebe Bridgers together over the years. She’s quite the guitar player, but typically very soft spoken. So my eyes got a little bit foggy the first time I heard her voice on this song.

When we first started the project, I asked her for a title for the song. She just shrugged her shoulders, so I saved the file as idk. It wasn’t until later that we realized “I don’t know” was in the hook of the song, so it stuck.

I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it.
