Congratulations to Trey Hernandez! He successfully defended his master's project on Nov. 19. He focused on the use of metaphors in Super Bowl commercials to assess viewers' visual literacy. His committee members were Drs. Alec Tefertiller, Tamara Welter and Leslie Hahner.

Congratulations to Logan Singer! She successfully defended her master's thesis. The title was "Undergraduate and Graduate Public Relations Students’ Perceived Value of a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication." Her committee members were Drs. Marlene Neill, Alec Tefertiller and Daniel Shafer.

Congratulations to our Graduate students who presented 3 papers at AEJMC this year in San Francisco. One of papers was selected for a 3rd place award for the AEJMC PR Division. Congratulations Annie Qiang, Logan Singer and Trey Hernandez. Emeri Drewry and Raphael R. Roker also contributed to one of the research projects.

Congratulations to Lauren Davidson! She successfully defended her master's project, which was focused on proposed innovations for the print magazine industry. Her faculty committee members were Professor Amber Adamson, Dr. Tamara Welter and Dr. Daniel Shafer. She will receive her Master of Arts degree in journalism on May 16.
