Connally HS Choir

Thank you to those who came to our Christmas concert this past Thursday (and for the pics, !!). We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!!

We hope you can join us for our annual Christmas concert tomorrow night at 6pm in the Connally Auditorium! Admission is free, but donations of money or canned goods towards the Connally ISD Food Drive are encouraged.

Congratulations to Jennifer Cruz, Alejandro Lujan, and Friend Pena (who are also involved in numerous other activities on campus!) for qualifying for this year's Region 8 All-Region Choir!

This was the first year for each of them to audition and take part in tonight's concert alongside other qualifying choir students from across our region. So proud of them for the hard work put into preparing for auditions and for the hours of rehearsal put in today before the concert! They are true examples of Cadet Pride in action 💙

All-Region Choir Auditions happened today, including many new choir members and first-time auditioners. We are so proud of all of them for their hard work on this music when they are also involved in so many other school organizations!

Altos Glyn McDaniel and Tayja Alderman and Tenor Alejandro Lujan were selected to perform at the Region 8 All-Region Concert on Nov. 11. Congratulations to all!! 💙🎼🎵🩶

Arts Showcase 2023 is in the books!!

Thank you to our fantastic volunteer crew for helping everything run smoothly, to the CHS Blue Angels for sharing the stage with us, to Mr. Lloyd for the beautiful art displays by our talented art students, and to the family, friends, teachers, and administrators who came to support us tonight!! 💙

Join us Tuesday, May 16, for the CHS Arts Showcase!! Doors open at 5pm for the art displays, and performances from the CHS Choir and Blue Angels will begin at 5:30pm. Admission is free, but donations to our arts programs are always appreciated!! 💙

Love to sing? Come audition for the 2023-2024 CHS Choir on Monday, April 17, from 4-5:30pm. Registration packets can be picked up in Mrs. Figley's room (55).

SO proud of this group for their results at UIL Choir Solo and Ensemble today! Kayli Collins (Soprano), Ami Collins (Soprano II), Glyn McDaniel (Alto), and Rayne Rodriguez (Alto II) received a 2 on their quartet, and Rayne Rodriguez received a 2 on her tenor solo. Congratulations on your fantastic performances and well-deserved ratings!! 💙🎶⭐️
