Before the hallways fill up and the first bell rings, we’re throwing a special event just for you: Cub Camp! Think of it as your preview to middle school.

Huge congratulations to the G.W. Carver Lady Panther Soccer team for their incredible performance against China Spring yesterday. Our girls played with unmatched intensity from start to finish.

China Spring came into the game with a perfect record, but the Lady Panthers proved that on any given day, Carver is the team to beat. Way to end that streak and show these teams what we’re made of!

Parents, Today, May 11th, is the last day students can bring a backpack to school for the year. Please ensure all belongings go home this afternoon! Starting tomorrow, no backpacks will be allowed on campus.

A HUGE thank you to Walmart Store #939 here in Waco! We are so grateful for the wonderful Teacher Appreciation gifts. It was incredibly exciting that you took the time to come out and visit with some of our teachers personally. Your support means the world to our school!

What an incredible day on our home court! We were so honored to host the Middle School Special Olympics Basketball Tournament, and let’s just say... the energy in the gym was electric!

Our athletes didn't just play hard—they played with heart. While we are so proud of the grit and skill they showed on the court (and hey, those "W’s" on the scoreboard definitely made us cheer a little louder! ), the real highlight was seeing the smiles, the high-fives, and the pure joy of the game.

An event like this takes a village, and we have the best one around! A massive THANK YOU to:

• Our Functional Academics Teachers: Thank you for you for coaching our stars to game!

• Our Athletics Coaches: Huge shoutout for stepping in to referee and keep the games running smooth!

• Mr. Beavers: Our incredible MC who kept the crowd hyped and the energy high!

• Ms. Moore: Our amazing admin who worked behind the scenes to bring this entire event together.

We are so proud of our athletes and our Carver family. Today was a win for everyone!

From custom patches to creative flair, our teachers are rocking their new custom looks. It’s just a small way to say thank you for all the "hats" you wear every single day—mentor, cheerleader, innovator, and Difference Maker.
