Baylor Kendo Club Welcome to our public portal! We are a university club in Waco, TX. Our sensei is Hatakeyama Kenichi (7th dan). We are members of SWKIF & AUSKIF.

Baylor Kendo Club is a club on Baylor campus that allows students to practice Kendo - The Way of the Sword. Kendo originates from Japan; its deep culture fosters a fulfilling way of life which all of its students can learn from. Join to learn the art, have fun with friends, and compete in tournaments! Professor Hatakeyama Kenichi (7th dan) is our instructor. Practices are held on Thursday nights f

rom 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in Russell Gym (the building south of the BSB). Some members also practice at Waco Kendo [wacokendo.com] on other days.
