When asked about equipping students at Truett, Dr. Andy Arterbury, professor of Christian Scriptures, said, "When new students arrive at Truett Seminary, I first thank God for the faithful servants God has sent our way and pray for God’s protection to prevent me from impeding their growth and maturation in any way. Beyond that, I get excited about helping students learn to ask better questions, read the Scriptures more faithfully, and articulate the good news of Jesus more clearly. Ultimately, though, I can only create learning opportunities. It is the Holy Spirit who forms and transforms all of us more fully as we study the Scriptures together, and I get the privilege of having a ringside seat. It is a profound blessing!"

Wrongfully imprisoned in 2006, Mulenga Chela used his time behind bars to share the gospel with fellow prisoners. Years later, that journey unexpectedly led him to Truett Seminary, and eventually back home to Zambia, where he now serves hundreds of children and families through Christ Life Ministry.
