Come to Transformation Waco’s Resource Center [1102 Calumet Street, Waco, 76704] on Tuesday, August 6, between 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. We’ll get you registered for Child Care Services (CCS) to ensure afterschool stays low-cost or free.

ATTENTION WISD FAMILIES: Due to the below freezing temperatures, Waco ISD will be on a two-hour delayed start for Tuesday morning, January 16, 2024. All campuses and offices will open two hours later than normal, and pick-up times for all bus routes will be delayed two hours. Breakfast will be served to students.
Students and staff should arrive two hours later than their normal start time on a regular school day. Buses will pick students up two hours later than regularly scheduled pick-up times. School will be dismissed at its normal time.
The District will continue to monitor local weather and road conditions. If further action is needed, our families, community, and local media will be informed as soon as possible. Thank you for entrusting Waco ISD with the education and care of your students!
