Our next Robbins Healthcare MBA alumni networking session is coming up on June 9 from 12–1 p.m. CST. This quarterly gathering is an opportunity to connect with fellow alumni, discuss current events impacting healthcare, ask questions, and share challenges and insights with one another.

This session, moderated by Andre Cisne, will focus on the “One Big Beautiful Bill” (OB3) and how it may impact healthcare organizations.

We look forward to continuing the conversation and reconnecting with our Robbins Healthcare MBA community. For questions or future discussion topic ideas, please email Andre Cisne ([email protected]) or Kara Borgmeyer Abrameit ([email protected]).

Last month, we welcomed our advisory board back to campus for their annual meeting! It was great celebrating our students’ accomplishments and talking through what’s ahead. Grateful for a board that shows up year after year. 💚

Our Healthcare MBA students recently attended the annual Bible reception hosted by Mary Jo Robbins – a longstanding tradition centered on faith, leadership and service in healthcare. During the reception, Mrs. Robbins personally presented each student with a Bible as part of the program’s continued mission to support and encourage future healthcare leaders.

In addition to the Bible presentation, this year’s reception included another meaningful opportunity for students, as Mrs. Robbins shared professional attire from Bill Robbins’ collection to support students as they prepare for interviews, residencies and future leadership opportunities. Through her continued mentorship and generosity, Mrs. Robbins continues the Robbins legacy of investing in future healthcare leaders.

Congratulations to Robbins Healthcare MBA students Trinity Verduzco, Lauryn Housholder and Leeba Farooqi on an outstanding performance at the 15th Annual OSU First-Year Health Administration Case Competition.

Competing against 22 programs, the team earned a 4th-place finish, with Trinity also receiving a Best Presenter Award. Their solution for Ochsner Health focused on aligning culture and accountability through the OWN model, incorporating AI-enabled communication and predictive analytics to support proactive capacity planning while keeping people at the center.

We’re proud of the way these students represented Baylor and the Robbins Healthcare MBA program through thoughtful problem solving and strong leadership.
